Jamison: High-Energy Celtic Rock Like You’ve Never Heard Before
Philadelphia’s Irish music scene is alive with tradition, but no band electrifies it quite like Jamison. This high-energy five-piece outfit redefines Celtic rock, taking traditional Irish tunes and turning them on their heads—infusing them with rock, reggae, modern pop, and hip-hop. Whether they’re tearing through a fiery fiddle reel or transforming a festival favorite with their signature sound, Jamison guarantees a show that gets crowds on their feet and singing along.
A Festival Favorite with a Devoted Following
Since 2003, Jamison has been a mainstay on the East Coast’s Irish and Celtic festival circuit, building a passionate fan base from Philadelphia to the Jersey Shore and beyond. They’ve played to packed crowds at some of the biggest Irish festivals, including:
- Celtic Classic (Bethlehem, PA) – 2013–2015, 2018, 2019, 2022
- Cape Coral Irish Festival (Cape Coral, FL) – 2018–2020
- St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival – 2019–2025
- Philadelphia Penn’s Landing Irish Festival – 2003–2023
- North Wildwood Irish Fall Festival – 2003–2024
- Harrisburg Celtic Fling – 2017, 2018
- Valley Forge Mid-Winter Scottish/Irish Festival – 2006–2016
- Kiltfest (Bordentown, NJ) – 2016
But Jamison doesn’t stop when festival season ends. The band—whether as a full lineup or in solo, duo, and acoustic variations—keeps the energy flowing year-round in pubs, venues, and special events throughout their home region.
They’ve been featured at Jameson Whiskey Bartenders Ball, Paddypalooza, Running of the Santas, and many other regional and community concert series.
A Holiday Tradition: “An American Celtic Christmas”
Since 2012, Jamison has hosted “An American Celtic Christmas,” a must-see holiday event blending Irish music, dance, and Christmas classics. This annual sold-out show has become a cherished tradition for thousands in the Philadelphia area, and in 2024, the show will embark on a U.S. tour.
